BOOK DESIGN | CREATIVE & ART DIRECTION
Zone Local is a printed guidebook documenting the outdoor bouldering at Fort Tryon Park in Manhattan's Washington Heights neighborhood. The guide functions as an archive, resource, and the first volume within an ongoing project of documenting outdoor climbing past and present in New York City.
The project aesthetically recalls the simplicity of vintage guidebooks while proposing a new framework for documenting rocks with both experimental graphics and functional design.
